F.A.Q.

Can I learn to dance?

It is our belief that everyone can and should have the chance to experience what dancing can do and bring to their lives. After taking a lesson, you will see that it is very easy and lots of fun.

Will it take long?

The length of your dance course depends on how many dances you would like to learn. The level of proficiency you wish to attain is also a factor. The average person learns the basic patterns to a dance in as few as 6 lessons, but you will find you will be dancing after your very first lesson, regardless of age, and even if you have never danced before.

Will my instructions be in private or a group class?

It does not actually matter how you start. If you start out with group classes, later on you might feel you want to elevate your learning process. At this time you can proceed on with private lessons. If on the other hand, you start with private lessons, then group classes will help compliment and retain what you have learned. The bigger question is: “When will you start?”

Do I need a partner?
No partner is required. Your instructor can be your partner in the learning process. As you participate in the group classes and the practice dance parties, you will find yourself surrounded by new friends and many dance partners.
What type of dances do you offer?
Unless you have any specific requests, your instructor will introduce you to all the popular Ballroom, Latin and, Swing dances. We also offer Country Western and Adult Tap and Jazz. Our website has an excellent page that describes many of these dances.
Will I have to compete or perform?
No. We offer bi-annual showcases and regular competitions for those who want to participate in them. You will discover we offer many opportunities to dance and you can join in on just those that interest you.
What are the studio hours, and when can I take my lessons?
The studio is open Monday – Thursday from 10 am until 10 pm. Fridays – 10 am – 7 pm . Group Class and Party from 7 – 10:00 pm every Friday evening. Saturday – Sunday lessons are available by appointment.
Will I have a good instructor?

Will I have to sign a contract?

When can I practice what I have learned?
